It's been a while but we have an update from the owner.

"The flats (old shops) building warrant is currently being rechecked by the building inspector and the bar building warrant is awaiting the structural engineers details and Structural Engineers Registration certification before resubmission.

Structural steelworks are now complete with the likelihood that to apply for the completion certificate an amendment to warrant application will be required. This will become clear once the site building inspector completes their inspection  - in progress.

Start of the flats conversion may be possible in a few weeks time and then the bar and kitchen extension can follow on after the building warrant is cleared."

Nothing very startling but at least things are moving forward, however slow!
